Here's what a few of our guests had to say . . .

If you would like to comment on your stay, please email Debby.

We'd love to hear from you.

"Debby, Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your home on Forest Hill. Everything was very comfortable and clean and I really enjoyed making a new friend! Rewa was a terrific housemate! We could have used a snow shovel, but otherwise had all we needed! Thanks again!" Jana (1/30/10)

"Thank you for your gracious hospitality - all the comfort of home. I'll be back! p.s. just a suggestion- liquid body wash soap for shower as an option. - Karen (Jan 16, 2010 stayed at School Rd - upper level queen with private bath)  Debby's response on suggestion- I had thought about putting such personal items in the shower but it may appears as if the previous renter left it. There are people that have sensitive skin and/or allergic to certain products so it is best not to have personal items. There is a basket in the side vanity of the Queen bed private bath room that have hotel bottles of shampoo, etc. should you need to them. There is also a basket of travel size items in the lower level bath that is available for purchase for $1. This is the result of previous renters forgetting to bring their personal shower items. I purchased these items for $1 at Target.

"Thank you so much for a wonderful place to stay during a great weekend. The house is lovely, warm and welcoming. I can't wait to come back next weekend! You will be the first person I call when I plan to visit! Thank you so much!!! A hairdryer in each bath would be really nice!! - Brittney (Jan 16,2010 stayed at School Rd- twin bedroom) Debby's response on suggestion- I used to keep one in the hall bath vanity. I have move it to another room along with my personal toiletries to give renters plenty of space in the hall bath. I find the renters bring their own stuff to make their stay as homey as possible.

"Thank you so much for letting us be the first to enjoy your beautifully redone home. We enjoyed our stay here, as well as Asheville's attractions a great deal, and your recommendations were great. The only thing we regret is that we couldn't stay longer, but we do hope to return again soon. Again, we really appreciate your kind arrangements! - Amy & Family (stayed at School Rd.) "Hi Debby,

Sorry it has taken me so long to give you some feedback on the weekend I stayed at your rental house.  I thought the accomodations were lovely.  The bedroom was immaculate and clean.  It made me feel very comfortable.  The rest of the house was wonderful as well although I did not tend to spend a lot of time there.  Thank you for renting the room to me, I really enjoyed it.
Ann 6/8/09"

"Staying at Debby's is wonderful. It is beautiful and clean and comfie. Debby has worked to make the home like a nice hotel (but better- no stuffiness or weird smells :-) ). If you are lucky, you'll meet Debby - she's the sweetest. Come, stay, before she's discovered". - Shannon 4/19/09 during John Friend's Anusara training (stayed at School Rd)

"Thank you. Your home is beautiful! I will send you a note about future stays. It was so nice of you to share your home and I enjoyed our talks". -Lisa (stayed at School Rd) 4/19/09

"I've been to Asheville a few times the past couple years to attend various yoga workshops, and always stayed in a hotel.  Recently, while attending a yoga workshop at AYC, I decided to rent 3 nights from Debby and stay at her home in Asheville.  It was a great decision!  There was plenty of space, it was very welcoming and comfortable, and I enjoyed it so much more than I ever did staying in a hotel.  From now on, anytime I visit Asheville for a yoga workshop, Debby will be the first person I call!" - Allison 4/7/09

"Dear Debby & Family,    Wow. Your home in Asheville is gorgeous, welcoming and makes you feel at home away from home. You have really taken the time to infuse the house with your personal touches of love to ensure a comfortable stay for your guests. It is very clean with modern comforts and I thank you, thank you for making it available to share". Namaste, Angela (stayed Prenatal teacher training 3/28/09, Yin yoga 5/09, Yoga Sutra 7/09)

"I stayed at Debby's house during a weekend workshop at AYC and had a
wonderful visit.  The house was comfortable, inviting, and so clean!
The location was also very close and convenient to everything I wanted
to do in Asheville". - Rebecca (stayed during David Williams classes 3/21/09)

"I recently attended a workshop at AYC and stayed at Debby’s home (and I have already reserved one of her rooms for when I return for a workshop next month).  Her home is truly the most comfortable place I have ever stayed when traveling, and I found it amusing that it actually took a couple of nights when I returned to my own home to adjust and sleep through the night!  Debby’s home is beautifully furnished, totally inviting, comfortable, convenient, immaculate and cozy, and Debby is totally charming and a delight to get to know".

-Jan Metta Yoga Studio (stayed during Yoga Therapy 12/08, Yin Yoga 5/09, Restorative 08/09)

"My friend Meredith and I live in Nashville, TN, and we travel to Asheville several times a year for yoga workshops.  There is no place we would rather stay than Debby's beautiful, little gray house on the hill.  Our time in the house has been restful, rejuvenating, quiet, and immaculately clean and comfortable!  The home is located close to downtown, West Asheville, and the Asheville Yoga Center.  I love and highly recommend Debby's house; I feel completely at home there! "

"My stay at Debby's house was very clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again if it's available. I highly recommend this house for an Asheville visit.  - Julee S. 07/08 during Childrens yoga"

"I live in Knoxville, and I recently stayed at Debby's house for an AYC weekend work shop. It is close to AYC, and other attractions, and it was so clean everywhere. The comfortable bed and pillows made being away from my bed very easy, and since a good nights sleep is just what I needed for those early work shop hours, I was relieved to be comfortable at Debby's house. I hope to stay there again the next time I go to AYC for a work shop."
