From Charlotte: Take I-85 West to Gastonia. Take Exit 17, go North on Hwy 321 to Hickory. Take Exit 43B, go West on Hwy 40 to Asheville. Once you arrive in Asheville take Exit 53B, go North on Hendersonville Rd which becomes Biltmore Ave within the first half mile. Continue on Biltmore Ave passing Biltmore Villiage on your left. Within a mile you'll make a right onto Caledonia Rd. Continue on Caledonia until it dead-ends into Forest Hill Dr. The grey house right in front of you is 256 Forest Hill Dr - You're Home!
From Knoxville: Go East on Hwy 40 to Asheville. Once you arrive in Asheville take Exit 50, go North on Hendersonville Rd which becomes Biltmore Ave within the first half mile. Continue on Biltmore Ave passing Biltmore Villiage on your left. Within a mile you'll make a right onto Caledonia Rd. Continue on Caledonia until it dead-ends into Forest Hill Dr. The grey house right in front of you is 256 Forest Hill Dr - You're Home!
Directions from Forest Hill to AYC- Go to Biltmore Ave via Calendonia. Make right onto Biltmore Ave. Make right onto S Charlotte St. (1 mile) Stay on right lane as you near Chestnut. The left lane will eventually become a must turn left lane onto 240W. Left to Chestnut. AYC is on the left hand side. Total 2.7 miles About 5 to 8 minutes.
Another way via Biltmore Ave through downtown (may have more traffic)- Go to Biltmore Ave via Calendonia. Make right onto Biltmore Ave. Stay on Biltmore Ave which becomes Broadway which becomes Merrimon (You will pass entrance to 240, Greenlife will be on the left, Bojangles on the right) About 2 miles. Make right onto Chestnut. AYC is on the right. Total 2.6 miles

Within a mile, at stop light (Auto Parts store is on your left, Signs N Banner store on right) you'll make a right onto Bear Creek Rd (Malvern Hills Presyterian Church is on your right). Make right onto School Rd. When you see a triangular divider with two park benches, turn towards the right as that continues on as School Rd, DO NOT go straight. The house is at 167 School Rd (green plastic mailbox) on the righthand side - You're Home!

Directions from School Rd to AYC- Leaving the house (facing the neighbor's house across the street) go left on School Rd toward Bear Creek Rd, make a left onto Bear Creek, then immediate right onto Patton Ave. Go 4 miles. Enter 240 E (middle lane) toward downtown Asheville, exit 5A onto Merrimon Ave (keep right at light). Staples on right side. Make right (at light) onto Chestnut. AYC (2 blocks) on right. Total 4.8 miles About 6-9 minutes.
From AYC to School Rd - Go south on Merrimon Rd. Pass Greenlife and stay in the right lane. Turn right onto Hwy 240W. Work your way to the far left lane which will become Patton Ave (the highway sign reads US-19 US-23 South). DO NOT stay in the middle lane which continues on 240W. Go straight for two and half miles on Patton Ave. You will see Dominoes pizza on the right, the next light is Bear Creek. Make left at Bear Creek Rd (you will see the subdivision sign for Malvern Hills) then make a quick right on School Rd. School Rd will turn to the right after about a third of a mile. The house has a plastic green mailbox.
If you are in downtown by Salsas, Tupelo Honey or Jack of the Woods, Patton Ave runs through downtown area. Then you do not need to get on 240W.
