I live in Charlotte NC with my husband and three school age children. We purchased the Forest Hill house Jan 2008 and School Rd house in Oct 2008. I wanted a place of my own to stay while I continue with AYC's 500 hr program which I have completed by Dec 2008. My yoga training uncovered my gift of touch and passion for sharing my energy which led me to the Asheville School of Massage and Yoga. I graduated from ASMY program in April 2011 and is a licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in the state of North Carolina. If you would like a massage during your stay, please let me know. Rent a room or the whole house. We only rent to AYC students or affliliates (my yoga students, yoga students referred to AYC) ONLY. Not available to public as this website is listed only in AYC lodging list. I want my house to be lovingly cared for by like-minded yoginis. The Forest Hill house is in the very desireable Kenilworth neighborhood less than 2 miles from Biltmore Estate. The School Rd house is in the beautiful and quiet Malvern Hills neighborhood in West Asheville. Both houses are truly a labor of love as we put many hours of hard work renovating and making the houses a home away from home for our guests. We are proud to offer a variety of rooms that are affordable, very clean, super comfortable in convenient locations as an alternative to staying at a hotel or a bed & breakfast. Both houses have their own charm and are desireable for different reasons.
Due to the majority of the guests that rent rooms are FEMALE AYC students and there may be a concern male students may be staying, I am offering the rooms to female students only unless you rent the whole house. Spouses of AYC students are welcome. Whole house rentals are available if you prefer total privacy.
If you are interested in staying at myhouseinasheville, the initial process goes like this.........
1) Read this main page. Optional- read the guest comments. Click on the address above the picture of houses to view the interior and read the amenities. 2) Click on rates to view the rates of each room/house and read the whole page. 3) Pick the room/house that fits your budget and tastes. 4) Email or call me to check on availabilities of your choice of room(s). Provide me with the dates of your stay and/or which workshop you are attending. 5) When you have made the decision you want to stay at myhouseinasheville, we will confirmed on the room and you will give me a deposit either through PayPal or snail mail me a check to my Charlotte address. I will give that to you at time of confirmation. 6) I will email you as a confirmation that I received your deposit. 7) A day or two before your check-in, you will receive another email from me where I will provide you with a code to open the front door or garage door. This code gets changed when guests check-out. No key required. 8) If you paid in full, you are all set to go. If you paid only a deposit, the balance is due before or upon arrival. Namaste! |

256 Forest Hill is located near Biltmore Village (2 miles or about 8 minutes to Asheville Yoga Center).
Absolutely no smoking and no pets! Please no outside shoes in the house. A shoe rack by entry way for your shoes. You will appreciate the cleanliness. Thank you for your consideration.We have in both houses:
